Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Diners rave about the generous portions and diverse menu options, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. Many recommend the pancakes, especially when paired with warm maple syrup—a breakfast favorite that never disappoints. The cocktails also earn high praise, especially the two-for-one deal, a real treat for those looking to unwind. The cozy atmosphere, combined with attentive staff, turns each visit into a delightful occasion, making it an ideal spot for family outings and celebratory dinners. Weekend brunch is particularly popular, as patrons enjoy delicious meals while soaking in the live music.

Most Disliked

Some visitors have noted that while many dishes impress, others can miss the mark; bland burgers have been mentioned, showing inconsistency in the kitchen. Though efforts are made to maintain a lively environment, the compact space can feel crowded during peak times, potentially affecting comfort. A few diners wish for more vegan options on the menu. However, overall, most feedback tilts positively, reflecting that minor flaws don’t overshadow the enjoyable dining experience.

Brilliant for family breakfast! Their pancakes were nice and fluffy combined with their maple syrup. Biscoff hot chocolate was amazing, highly recommend. Staff were super nice and very accommodating. Would recommend this place to start your day with some good food!

The staff were so friendly, really attentive and helpful! Lovely place, very small but not too quiet. Enough space between tables that we were comfortable. Drinks were great, lots of choice and 2 for £14 cocktails. Food was good, definitely try the tapas for something a bit different. The PIG burger was great! One of the other burgers seemed bland, but with hotspots of cajun.

I recently had the pleasure of stopping by 'Ey up duck' for a scrumptious breakfast, and let me tell you, it was absolutely fabulous! The place has a really clean and cosy vibe. The service was top-notch! The staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal. I truly felt taken care of. The food. Wow! Not only was it served quickly, but it was also beautifully presented. And let me tell you, their classic breakfast is the real deal! The bacon was perfectly crispy and super tasty sausages. They gladly provided oat milk for my tea, which shows how accommodating they are too. All in all, my experience at 'Ey up duck' was incredible. The combination of a delicious classic breakfast, friendly service, a cosy atmosphere, and their willingness to cater to individual needs made it a memorable visit. I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you're looking for a fantastic breakfast spot with a welcoming vibe. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing venue. Great and varied selection of drinks and food. I had home-made chicken tenders and katsu sauce for starters and spicy gringo for mains.

Decided to book in for a Sunday lunch after reading some other reviews. Really happy that we did as we were served a great Sunday lunch. We all had starters, myself going for the mussels which didn't disappoint and were well presented and very tasty coupled with a nice portion size as were the other starters. We all went for the giant Yorkshire pudding which contains all other elements of this amazing lunch, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, roast and mashed potato and stuffing. The veg was cooked perfectly for us, still having that little bit of bite, nothing was overcooked and it was all piping hot and tasty. By far one of the nicest Sunday lunches that you would possibly compare to one of your own, but without the effort of cooking it yourself. We will be back for this again and to try out some of the other items on the menu.
